We left Indiana at 10:30 this morning and traveled through Illinois, Wisconsin, and arrived in Watersmeet, Michigan at 9;30 pm. We are staying in a secluded little cabin just off of 45 North. There is electric, but no air conditioning . . . behind our cabin is Moon lake and the front door opens to a quiet and peaceful forest. I am loving this cabin :) Plan to walk the trail to Moon lake in the morning. We are exhausted and headed to bed. Good night.
P.S. these cabins were built in the 1930's and we just found out that they were used as a rendezvous point for customers of a bigger hotel in the area at that time.
