Lovin' Lodi . . .

Lodi, CA, some may know this small town by the CCR song, "Stuck in Lodi, Again", but we have never been "stuck" because we always hate to leave. We have some of the greatest friends here in Lodi . . . the Burgess family. Pat and Dale Burgess have been Dan's dear freinds for many years. Dan served in the military with Dale in Europe 39 years ago and they have been like brothers ever since. I cherish their friendship . . . . they are two very special folks!

Dan presented and had a book signing while in Lodi. We had quite a few people turn out and there wasn't one dry eye. Dan did a very nice job presenting and people opened up and it was really a touching experience. Below are pictures of the book signing.

Happy 4th of July! Here we are celebrating the 4th with the Burgess family by watching fireworks in the back yard. The smores were yummy too :)
One of our favorite places to eat in Lodi, is Honey Treat yogurt. They serve the BEST frozen yogurt ever, and we always make it a priority to go there!! Below is a picture of Pat, Dale, and Me in front of the shop.

It is always so hard to say goodbye . . . we always cry. Here we are at Lodi Lake, getting ready to leave and holding on to the last few moments with our dear frends, Pat and Dale. We love you guys so much!!!!
